Improving Technology: Technology Business Cycle For Better Customer/Client Satisfaction

Case Study: Nigeria

I Don't Live In The Abroad, Neither Do I Live In All Parts Of Africa, But I Live In Nigeria. Nigeria And Africa At Large Will Always Be A Good Technology Market For Investors Because Of The Level Of Technological Exposure And Utilization.

Technology In This Context Is Not Just Focused On Developing New Stuffs, But Rather It Focuses More On How To Improve End-users Experience And Satisfaction; To Ensure Customers Are Pleased With Your Services.

With My Level Of Exposure To Real-time Technologies, I Can Assure You That No Technology Company Offers Their Customers/Clients 70% Of Quality Service. Why? This Is Because Of The Different Touch Points. Even If Company A Can Assure You Of 100% QoS, Because Company A Also Rely On Company B For Optimality, This QoS Slowly Reduces.

The Only Thing That Strive In Nigeria Is The Competition. And This Is Not Because Company A Is Offering Better Services Than Company B, But May Be Rather The PRICING. Yes Pricing. This Is Another Strategy. It Is Very Sad To Say That It's Absolutely Difficult To Achieve 100% QoS In Nigeria.

What The Government Need To Do:

1. Improve Internet Services

2. Invest In Technology

3. Provide Financial Support

What Private Companies Need To Have In place:

1. Research Team: The Core Duty Of The Research Team Is To Find Ways On Improving Technology For Better Customer/Client Satisfaction.

2. Technology Team: This Team Is Constantly Fed With Information From The Research Team In Building New Technologies For Better Customer Experience.

3. Quality Assurance Team: Their Job Is To Thoroughly Test The Newly Developed Technology.

4. Deployment Team: After Being Certified 100% By The QA Team, Their Job Is To Deploy These Technologies For Customer/Client Consumption.

5. Business Development & Monitoring Team: Their Job Is To Constantly Ensure That Customers Are Satisfied With The New Technologies, Get Feedback From Customers/Clients About Their Experiences, Constantly Give Feedback To The Research Team On Ways To Improve Technology.

Bayern Munich superstar, Robert Lewandowski has reportedly agreed term to join Barcelona after infoming his German club that he won't sign a new contract.

The striker's current deal with the club expires in the summer of 2023 and he has been linked with a move to Barcelona in recent weeks.

Polish television channel TVP Sport have reported that the 33-year-old has told the club's CEO and veteran goalkeeper Oliver Kahn that he plans to leave the club and has agreed personal terms with Barcelona.

If Lewandowski makes a move to Spain, he would become the first Polish player to ever represent Barcelona.

The Catalan giants have already made impressive progress since club legend Xavi replaced Ronald Koeman as manager.

Spanish publication Sport last week reported that Lewandowski 'will do everything' to join Barcelona and that the Spanish side could offer Sergino Dest in return who is a target of the reigning Bundesliga champions.

Will Smith Barred From Academy Events

4/08/2022 08:47:00 pm 0

Will Smith has been barred from attending any Academy events, including the Oscars, for 10 years after slapping comedian Chris Rock on stage for making fun of his wife Jada Pinkett Smith.

The board of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, which organises the Oscars, made the announcement today, April 8, after meeting in Los Angeles to discuss possible sanctions.

"The Board has decided, for a period of 10 years from April 8, 2022, Mr. Smith shall not be permitted to attend any Academy events or programs, in person or virtually, including but not limited to the Academy Awards," Academy President David Rubin and CEO Dawn Hudson said in a statement on Friday.

The statement added: "The 94th Oscars were meant to be a celebration of the many individuals in our community who did incredible work this past year; however, those moments were overshadowed by the unacceptable and harmful behavior we saw Mr. Smith exhibit on stage.

"During our telecast, we did not adequately address the situation in the room. For this, we are sorry. This was an opportunity for us to set an example for our guests, viewers and our Academy family around the world, and we fell short — unprepared for the unprecedented."

Smith, 53, had already resigned his membership from the Academy, giving up his voting rights, and said before the disciplinary hearing that he would accept any consequences.

The board had been set to meet on April 18 but brought the hearing forward to deal with the incident "in a timely fashion" following the actor's resignation.

NFF Strips Aishat Oshoala Off Her Captain Role

4/07/2022 07:19:00 pm 0

Super Falcons striker, Asisat Oshoala has reacted to reports of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) stripping her of the Super Falcons captaincy.

The Barcelona Femeni superstar was on Thursday, April 7th, stripped of Super Falcons captaincy ahead of the double-header friendlies against Canada.

An NFF senior official, according to SportNewsAfrica revealed that the decision on Oshoala wasn’t taken in bad faith but in order to help the attacker rediscover her form with the Super Falcons.

“We have no issue whatsoever with Asisat [Oshoala] but thoughts of stripping her of the armbard came after Aisha Buhari Cup last September,” the senior official was quoted as saying.

“This is not for anything negative but for troubling concerns of seeing her struggle in national team colours. We and the coach [Waldrum] observed the captaincy is weighing her down and affecting her play. With or without it, we believe she is a true professional player and should not struggle to prove otherwise by delivering on the pitch.”

Coach Randy Waldrum also reportedly agreed to take off the captaincy band from the Barcelona star as it had been taking a toll on her.

Reacting on social media hours after the news broke out, the former Liverpool star wrote: "LMAO, I’m just hearing this oo but okay."

Oshoala was named Super Falcons captain in September 2019 by Chris Danjuma after captain of the team at the time, Desire Oparanozie was stripped off her armband following a contention with the NFF.

Super Falcons veteran Onome Ebi is reported to be the new captain and she’ll be assisted by Francesca Ordega.

UK To Reduce Energy Dependency On Russia

4/07/2022 07:14:00 pm 0

The UK has said it will start developing eight more nuclear reactors as part of its new energy strategy to avoid reliance on Russia for energy.

The plan, which comes as Russia continues its war in ukraine resulting in increased energy prices, also includes plans to increase wind, hydrogen and solar production.

The government's energy strategy has been much-delayed, with one of the big points of contention reported to have been the construction of onshore wind turbines.

Under the government's new plans, up to 95% of the UK's electricity could come from low-carbon sources by 2030.

The plan outlines the hope of producing up to 50 gigawatts (GW) of energy through offshore wind farms, which the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (Beis) said would be more than enough to power every home in the UK.

In the nuclear part of the plan the UK plans to reduce the UK's reliance on oil and gas by building as many as eight new nuclear reactors, including two at Sizewell in Suffolk.

On the Wind part of the plan, the government aims to reform planning laws to speed up approvals for new offshore wind farms.

It's Hydrogen plans include doubling hydrogen production to help provide cleaner energy for industry as well as for power, transport and potentially heating.

It's solar plan will involve considering reforming rules for installing solar panels on homes and commercial buildings to help increase the current solar capacity by up to five times by 2035.

The government announced that a new body called Great British Nuclear will be launched to bolster the UK's nuclear capacity, with the hope that by 2050 up to 24 GW of electricity will come from that source - 25% of the projected electricity demand.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson said in a statement that the strategy would "reduce our dependence on power sources exposed to volatile international prices we cannot control, so we can enjoy greater energy self-sufficiency with cheaper bills".

Ukraine Negotiates With NATO

4/07/2022 07:08:00 pm 0

The Ukrainian government has doubled down on its request for weapons from Transatlantic military alliance, NATO saying it is ready to sacrifice lives in order to stop Russia from spreading it's invasion into other countries.

Ukraine's Foreign Minister, Dmytro Kuleba said more atrocities against civilians like the type in Bucha could happen if Ukraine doesn't quickly get more military aid.

Bucha is the town near Kyiv where reports and photographs have emerged in recent days showing horrific violence committed by Russian soldiers against local residents.

"The more weapons we get and the sooner they arrive in Ukraine, the more human lives will be saved, the more cities and villages will not be destroyed, and there will be no more Buchas" Kuleba said.

"I think the deal Ukrainians are offering is fair: you give us weapons, we sacrifice our lives and the war is contained in Ukraine. This is it."

"My agenda is very simple. It has only three items on it: weapons, weapons and weapons," Mr Kuleba said before a meeting with Nato foreign ministers on Thursday.

His statement comes as NATO foreign ministers meet today, April 7 in Brussels where they will discuss military aid to Ukraine.

Meanwhile, Russia has warned that "pumping weapons into Ukraine" will have a "negative effect" on peace talks between Russian and Ukranian officials.

Ukraine is not a member of Nato but it is being supported by the alliance with weapons.
