Bolt Arrives Rio, Aiming to Cap Illustrious Career with another Treble

Usain Bolt has announced his arrival in Rio by pulling out the iconic celebratory pose so familiar to fans all over the world.
Bolt will be seeking a third successive triple gold medal haul as he competes in the 100m, 200m and 4x100m relay for Jamaica.
The fastest man in the world is putting the finishing touches to his preparations ahead of his first event, the 100m heats on August 13.
The sprinter has become one of the most iconic athletes to compete in the sport and after glorious success at London 2012 and Beijing 2008, Bolt is seeking a third and possibly final Olympic Games with the same outcome.

Bolt is spending much of his time at Jamaica’s training base, which is a 15-minute bus ride to their team base at the Lynx Hotel.
After a period of absence with a hamstring concern, Bolt competed at the Anniversary Games in the Olympic Stadium, London.
He was not required to step out of fourth gear as he cruised to victory in the 200m with a time of 19.89 seconds.
The sport of athletics is crying out for another Olympics coloured by the charismatic Jamaican, particularly with the negative press surrounding doping in the sport.
One of Bolt’s main rivals at Rio will be Justin Gatlin who was formerly banned for doping and many would view success for the world’s fastest man as a victory for clean sport.
