Biafra Agitation: ‘Operation Python Dance’ Provoking, says MASSOB

More reactions have continued to trail the recently launched ‘Operation Python Dance’ by Nigeria Military to check the excesses of the Movement for the Actualisa­tion of the Sovereign States of Biafra (MASSOB).
Chief Solomon Oduch­ukwu through the National Director of Information, Mr Sunday Okereafor, noted that the military’s stance is war incisive but maintained that MASSOB would not succumb to such but remain committed to its non-violent approach.
He expressed worry that the military’s stand is only targeted at the group whom he said has re­mained non violent through its struggle. “Why are they preparing for war on civilians without weapons; we would not because of the military abandon our struggle; Biafra is real”, Odochukwu said.
Oduchukwu further said “On Biafra we stand; no amount of operation by the military would stop the ac­tualisation of Biafra. They started killing us since 1967 and they are still killing us; we are not afraid.”
