Senate Urges SGF to Resign Over Mismanagement of IDP Funds (SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS)

The interim report submitted by the Ad-Hoc Committee on Mounting Humanitarian Crisis in North-East on Thursday indicted the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Babachair Lawal.
Senator Shehu Sani-led Committee was set up unravel massive corruption allegedly perpetrated by public officers in the management of Boko Haram crisis.
Sani who presented the report disclosed that Lawal was director in one of the companies’ indicted to have perpetrated corruption in the management of North-East crisis funding.

Speaking, Senator Dino Melaye described the development as abominable and demanded Lawal’s resignation and prosecution.

Senator Olamilekan Adeola of Lagos also demanded his resignation.
