THE FIRST ORIENTAL DERBY OF THE SEASON IS UPON US AS FC IFEANYI UBAH BATTLE RANGERS FOR THE CHARITY CUP

The First Oriental Derby of the year will take place outside the eastern part of Nigeria in the Federal Capital territory in a Charity Cup game pitting the Nigerian Professional Football League Champions Enugu Rangers against the Nigerian Federation Cup Champions FC IfeanyiUbah at the National Stadium Abuja.

Rangers will represent the country in this year’s CAF Champions League while FC Ifeanyi Ubah will feature in the CAF Confederation Cup by virtue of their Federation Cup triumph.

It's the traditional curtain raiser for the season and as such, expect to see both sides field a star studded line up filled with new and quality signings.

Surely the fever is already in the air as we anticipate a scintillating game expected to be filled with sizzling skills exhibition and breathtaking performance from the two football eggheads of the South East Geopolitical Zone.
