The Galacticos, FC IfeanyiUbah will this Sunday be in Makurdi for their last game on the road in the first half of the season at the Aper Aku Stadium in Makurdi, the Capital City of Benue State as the home side Lobi Stars hosts the team that sent them packing in Round 32 of the NFF Federation Cup last season.

FC IfeanyiUbah are unbeaten in four consecutive games and would extend the run to five games if they avoid defeat at  Lobi Stars. Just after a run of 7-game losing streak on the road the Anambra Warriors eventually picked their first point away from home in the Matchday 15 visit to Akwa United to start a renaissance.

For the Ortom Boys, Sunday Akleche is anticipating a special match when Lobi Stars take on FC IfeanyiUbah on Sunday and the striker has commended the similarities in both sides' style of play. "It will be a special match no doubt. "We play really well with the ball and FC IfeanyiUbah also keep the ball, retain possession and are technically very good. "They have some very high profile players such as Prince Aggreh, his passing and his movement makes a big difference. His creativity has served the team well. "So we'll have to put in a strong defensive performance and look to take advantage of any space we can get to score. It's an important match for us," he stated.

FC IfeanyiUbah are currently 9th on the log with 24 points amassed in 17 matches played while their opponents are 11th on the NPFL log having collected 23 points in 17 matches played.

COACH'S COMMENT:
"Football is a game that you have to be committed, focused and not lose sight of the task at hand, It's our last game of the first half of the season against a good team whose name resonates across Nigeria's football circus. You can recall that last season we played Lobi Stars thrice and we defeated them twice with the most memorable being that of the Round 32 of the Federation Cup on our way to winning the trophy. With this at the back of our minds we prepare for this game knowing that we have a very good chance to get the points and as well we want to continue with our good form from the past few weeks," Preko told fcifeanyiubah.com.
