Mohamed Salah Joins Liverpool: Officially Confirmed By Club

MOHAMED SALAH has finally joined Liverpool after completing his medical today.



Liverpool will pay Roma £39million for Chelsea flop Salah, who becomes the club’s most expensive signing.
The Egypt international will wear the No 11 shirt at Anfield next season.
His arrival marks Liverpool’s second deal of the summer, following Dominic Solanke to Merseyside.

“I’m very excited to be here. I’m very happy," Salah told Liverpool's website.
“I will give 100 per cent and give everything for the club. I really want to win something for this club.

“We have a great team and very good players.

"I was watching the games last year and everyone was giving 100 per cent to win something.

“Everyone can see the coach gives everything.

"I hope to see that together we can give everything to win something for the club, for the supporters and for us.”

Salah scored 29 goals in 65 Serie A appearances for Roma, having joined them from Chelsea on a permanent deal last year.

He had enjoyed a successful loan stint at Fiorentina before moving to the Rome club.
Chelsea bought the winger from Basel back in 2014 but he struggled to make an impact under then-manager Jose Mourinho.
The 25-year-old will officially become a Liverpool player when the transfer window opens at the start of next month.
