Former governor of Benue State, Gabriel Suswam, alongside two others, has been granted bail in the sum of N250 million bail each.
The bail followed the plea of not guilty by Suswam alongside his former Commissioner for Finance, Omodachi Okolobia, and former accountant at the Benue State Government House Makurdi to the 32 count charges bordering on alleged diversion of N10bn SURE-P funds against them.
Justice Gabriel Kolawole ordered that each of them should produce one surety in the sum of N250m each.
He further ordered that each of the sureties must be a director or principal officer not below grade level 12 in the federal service.
