Abike’s gist partners in the office Nifemi and Linda kept hunting her with the cool guy Linda had seen with her at the party. Nifemi could not attend the party because her 3 years old daughter was down with fever on the day of the party.
The trio had a strong bond and could tease each other for Africa. In addition to their couple appearance at the party, they had also noticed that Abike has been receiving calls from him during lunch hour. Abike had just finished receiving one of his calls in the company’s cafeteria when they came at her again.
…“hahahahahaha… please he’s not my boyfriend ooo…how many times will I have to tell you madams that he is just a guy I met at your party”...Abike finished her statement turning her gaze to Linda with her eyes rolling in a playful manner.
…“oh girl biko stop rolling your beautiful eyes at me jor…go and roll it at our new love abeg”… Linda replied playfully too.
…“yes ooo Linda” Nifemi chorused clapping her hands as she continued…“I was told everyone saw the chemistry between you two at the party on Saturday, I can still see it in your eyes self and he calls you 2-3 times a day”…
…“You people should leave me jare, ahhh… since on Monday that I stepped into this office till today Friday. Anyways we have a date today”…
Nifemi and Linda screamed excitedly. As Abike expected, the two madams began lectures immediately. If only they could go with her, probably sit close to their table to monitor every event. Suggestions on what to wear, how she should talk, sit and even her gesticulations were not left out. Abike could not wait for lunch hour to end so she could escape from her two love coaches.
