Produce Evidence of Alleged Discussion With The Late Igbo Leader - Onwuka Urges Buhari

The Leader of the Bi­afra Zionists’ Fed­eration (BZF), Barr.Onwuka Barr. Benjamin Onwuka, yesterday urged President Buhari to produce an audio or transcript of his alleged discussion with the late Igbo leader, Dim Odu­megwu Ojukwu, where both of them reached a common understanding that Nigeria should remain as one united nation.

Onwuka, while briefing some journalists in Enugu yesterday, said President Buhari’s claim in his broad­cast to the nation on Mon­day, that when late Emeka Ojukwu visited his family home at Daura, Katsina State in 2003 and both agreed in the continued existence of Nigeria as one common en­tity, as untrue.

He stated, “We are speak­ing today in response to the broadcast said to have been made by President Buhari. We want to let the world know that Buhari is wasting his time.

“Let him come up with evi­dence. Odumegwu Ojukwu, I believe will never compro­mise on Biafra’s indepen­dence. He was the one that led us to war, except that he made mistake of not accept­ing offer from Russia. That’s what the Zionists have done by seeking support from US.

“Biafra has come to stay with the backing of US. Our matter is right now at the desk of the US President. So, Buhari is wasting his time. He is even calling us irre­sponsible because he is ben­efiting from our oil. Where in the world are people agi­tating for freedom called ir­responsible people?”
