Star Player Iheanacho Completes Leicester £25m Move

Super Eagles forward, Kelechi Iheanacho, on Tuesday evening completed a £25 million swtch from Manchester City to Leicester City after passing a medical.

With the move done, the Nigerian can now settle down to rejig his career after playing just 528 minutes last season for Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City with 3 assists and 4 goals to show in the English Premier League. Leicester City manager Craig Shakespeare is thought to have high regard for the 20 year old and will certainly give Iheanacho enough playing time to show what he’s got.
The fee however makes him the most expensive Nigerian player ever, displacing Odion Ighalo when he signed for Chinese club Changchun Yatai for £20m in January.
The forward will join Nigerian compatriots and team mates in the Super Eagles Ahmed Musa and Wilfred Ndidi to form a Nigerian trio at the King Power Stadium.
However, an announcement is only expected within the next 24-48 hours as the club tidy up legal details in respect of his former representatives.
…Gets options for jersey number

English Premier League outfit, Leicester City, has offered the Nigerian forward three first completion.
However a shirt number is yet to be picked by the Nigerian, but sources reveal that the 20 year old has three choices made available to him by the club.
The jersey number 8, 14 and his former number at Manchester City number 72 have been offered to him but the forward whose preferred shirt number 9 and 10 is not vacant is yet to pick any of the aforementioned jersey number.
