The Agony Of Kogi State Citizens: We Should Be Mourning Rather Than Declare Public Holiday - Samuel Ay Ameh

It is no longer rumour that a strange illness has broken out among bororo and Fulanis claiming lives in Yagba West & Mopa Muro LGA of Kogi State
It was reported in Oro Ago kwara state last week to have claimed over 100 lives.
Now it is in Okoloke in Yagba West. It has also claimed over 200 lives & still counting.

Till this day 21st/08/2017, the Kogi State Governor have not visited this area of the state to console & sympathize with them, no satement has been issued by the Media Aides or any top gov't functionary in regards to this epidemic disease.

I urge friends, well wishers & the people of good will in their daily prayers to pray for KOGI STATE at this difficult & trying moment. It has not been easy in the past one year.
I also want to use this opportunity to draw the attention of the Hon Commissioner of Water Resources and Rural Development HON. PAUL ENEMA that the picture below is a community in Imane District, Olamaboro LGA of Kogi State. Water is one of the basic necessity of life, pls the State Government should come to their Aid.
