Bar Afam Osigwe at 45: You Are An Embodiment of Rare Wisdom - Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah

My Dearest Brother Afam,

I heartily convey to you my kindest and heartiest sentiments of goodwill on the special occasion of your 45th birthday.

I congratulate you because you have spent the last 19 years of your life championing the cause of humanity via your diverse interventions which have deepened Nigeria's legal jurisprudence and have also in no small measure improved the administration of criminal justice.

A perfect gentleman to the core, a detribalized and courageous Nigerian. Our paths crossed over 2 decades ago when by God's special Grace on your life, you distinguished yourself as a young man of strong morals and ethics, excellent character and virtuous attributes.

Your achievement over time speaks volumes of your tenacity, commitment, drive and genius. At a relatively young age of 42 years, you attained the position of the Secretary-General of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), a rare feat; and by the special grace of God, you will be voted in as the next President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) come 2018. At this tempo, there is no stopping you!

I must not fail to mention that these are no small feats considering the fact that they are in tandem with my philosophy of developing human capacity as a veritable tool of economic development. ‎I bear the same obligation to humanity; I can therefore tell how uneasy it could be.

My dear brother, you are an embodiment of rare wisdom, vast knowledge and exceptional courage. You have been a true friend, an excellent brother, a trustworthy confidant and a pure inspiration.

‎I therefore wish you more productive years on earth in good health and a sound mind just as it is my prayer that you grow in leaps and bounds and attain a height that is commensurate with the positive impact you have made in your profession and indeed in all your other endeavors.
