South Korean giant Samsung has officially unveiled the Exynos 9810, the processor that will power the Galaxy S9, and according to them , it has all the necessary technology to improve artificial intelligence in new smartphones.
Samsung decided to launch it early to reduce the popularity that the iPhone X is having among smartphone users. The Exynos 9810 will offer premium features, such as processing capabilities for deep learning and artificial intelligence.
Also the Exynos 9810 is built on Samsung’s second-generation 10-nanometer FinFET architecture, which will improve the performance of the devices with its third-generation CPU.
Additionally, it will have a faster LTE gigabit modem, and deep learning capabilities based on neural networks. It will not only be used for smartphones but also for personal computing and the automobile industry, using its artificial intelligence capabilities.
According to the Samsung, its new processor will be able to recognize people and objects in photographs to speed up searches and categorization. You can also scan the faces of users in three dimensions with its depth sensor, a feature that's available but not perfected on the iPhone X.
The processor will be on display at the CES 2018, where Samsung intends to unveil it as one of the best processors for the next generation of AI powered devices.
