Candidate Nomination: PDP Warns Inec Over Accommodating Strangers

The Official Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Nigeria warns INEC Nigeria against accepting any nomination on its platform outside the list of candidates submitted by the party.

This alarm was raised on behalf of the party by the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Hon Kola Ologbondiyan through his tweeter handle.

PDP also added that the party is aware of plots by INEC to accommodate some strangers from Ogun State who never participated in PDP primary election.

Further stressing that on no account should INEC Director of Legal Services, Mrs Babalola, accept nominations not signed by the National Chairman of PDP, Prince Uche Secondus and the National Secretary, Senator Umar Tsauri.

Reminding INEC officials that under our electoral law they cannot accept nomination from any state chapter of the party.

From this warning it is becoming clear that INEC might be acting another script similar to what they did in Ondo Sate before the court ruled against their decision towards the build up for the Ondo State gubernatorial election.
