President Buhari has terminated the appointment of Saleh Dunoma, the managing director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) and has approved the appointment of Rabiu Yadudu as the new MD of the parastatal.
A statement released by James Odaudu, the deputy director, press and public affairs of the Ministry of Transport today Monday May 20th, says that the new MD, who is a flight captain, will take over from Dunoma with immediate effect.
The new MD is an International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) and Airport Council International (ACI) accredited international airport professional. Until his new appointment, Yadudu was the director of airport operations of FAAN.
No reason was given for the termination of Dunoma's appointment. See the statement released by Yadudu below
