Many students of Queens College in Lagos have been affected following another epidemic outbreak in the school. This latest incident comes two years after three pupils of the school died from water-borne infections.
According to reports, over 900 students in the all-girls school have been sent back home as the number of students is beyond the capacity the sick bay can handle. Many parents have also been called to come and pick up their children that have since fallen ill.
The nature and source of the infection is yet unknown.
Confirming the recent outbreak, the Chairman of the Parent Teacher Association, John Ofoke, said the situation is bad and that the management of the school are planning to cover up the crisis.
