Leaders of Today Global Youth Forum, a registered Non Governmental Organization with the Principal interest of developing leadership course amongst youths in Nigeria, under the Leadership of the Chief Convener and President Excellency Arthur Ugochukwu today 15th of February paid a visit to Kuje prison Abuja.
The visit was to commemorate celebration of Love which was marked globally on the 14th of February 2020 hence it featured the donation of relief materials of different kinds.
The team recieved a warm reception from the Comptroller as he thanked the team for coming and gave an assurance that all materials and items donated by the team will be used strictly for and by the inmates.
Excellency Arthur speaking on purpose of visit quoted Hebrews 13:3 of his bible which says; "Remember those in Prison as if you were there yourself."
He also stated further that two things are key in ensuring that inmates regardless of a short, long or a life time sentence should be able to contribute their quota of productivity to the society and Nation at Large and they are; Show of Love and Health Care services.
It is therefore imperative to show concern about their wellbeing as they are human and Valentine period offers a good opportunity.
