In PillCam Capsule Endoscopy the patient swallows a PillCam capsule that is the size of a large vitamin. The capsule then passes naturally through the gastrointestinal tract, transmitting images and data wirelessly to a Data Recorder worn on a belt by the
patient. The video images are then read by a physician.
