Nigeria Records 829 New COVID-19 Cases

829 new cases of COVID19 were recorded in Nigeria on Saturday, December 26. 


 


According to the Nigeria Center for Disease Control NCDC, Lagos recorded 296 new cases, the highest for the day. Other states with new cases include FCT-291, Kaduna-79, Rivers-40, Kano-35, Nasarawa-25, Bauchi-19, Benue-8, Borno-7, Edo-7, Oyo-7, Sokoto-7, Cross River-3, Jigawa- Ogun-2. 


 


Nigeria now has a total of 83,576 confirmed cases. 70,495 patients have been discharged so far with 1,247 deaths recorded.
