Gunmen Abduct 25 Youths In Taraba

 25 youths were on Wednesday January 27, abducted by unknown gunmen along Wukari-Takum road. 

 

The incident occurred around 6pm and it was learnt that the victims were on their way back to Takum from Wukari where they attended a marriage ceremony. 

 

The youths were reportedly travelling in a commercial bus and ran into a roadblock which was setup by the gunmen at a spot between Kofan Amadu and Chanchangi. 

 

Spokesperson of Taraba Police command, DSP David Misal confirmed the incident and also disclosed that investigation has commenced. 

 

Misal said; 

 

“We confirmed that they are missing but not established either kidnapped or otherwise.

“Investigation has commenced."
