Treasury looters aided APC, Buhari – PDP chieftains

The Peoples Demo­cratic Party (PDP) has stated that Pres­ident Muhammadu Bu­hari ought to have known that looters of the nation’s treasury aided him and the APC to succeed in the 2015 general election and that he is harboring them in his government.
The statement was made at Keffi Local Gov­ernment Area of Na­sarawa State, at the event of the swearing in of the PDP wards exco in Keffi on Friday, when party chieftains converged to witness the occasion.



In their separate asser­tions, they discredited the one year of the APC at the national level under the watch of the presi­dent and also scored the Nasarawa State governor low in the area of workers welfare.
They jointly postulated that instead of alleviating the hardship Nigerians are currently faced with through continuity with the developmental foun­dation laid by the PDP administration, the APC has viewed it from a po­litical angle, thereby in­flicting more hardship on Nigerians.
A PDP local govern­ment chairman, Honour­able Aliyu Babayo, said though the party lost the leadership of the country at the national and the state level to the APC, nonetheless PDP remains the only people friendly political platform Nigeri­ans can earn a living from.
He however main­tained that losing the election and former president Jonathan respect for the rule of law by accepting defeat is an expectation that only democrats in the PDP could exhibit.

In another separate contribution, the youth chairman of the party and the state treasurer, Hon­ourable Sani Musa Keffi and Ibrahim Audu, re­spectively urged the PDP family in Nasarawa State to remain focused and neglect the insinuations from the opposition party as all is set for the PDP to take over power.
