Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah Declares Intention to run for 2017 Anambra Gubernatorial election

Nnewi Billionaire, Dr Ifeanyi Ubah yesterday, called an assembly of Anambra based media personalities and media men to a Press Congress in his home at Umuanuka Otolo, Nnewi in Anambra State with the sole aim of interacting, socializing and engaging the community in the hopes of establishing rapport, fostering unity amongst Ndi Anambra State using the media as the driving machinery to achieve that.
All notable Media Personality as well as all other Anambra State Youth Forums were represented. Dr Ifeanyi Ubah driven by his passion for Sports, Human Capacity Development as well as Philantropic activities, took his time to engage the forum, take questions and even shared jokes with the audience.

It was during the course of the event that Dr Ifeanyi Ubah dropped a bombshell ahead of the the 2017 elections.  When asked if he will contest the forthcoming elections even though he is a supporter of the incumbent Governor of Anambra State, His Excellency, Chief Willie Obiano, he replied “unless Chief Willie Obiano makes me the Director-General of his election campaign, I will contest for the seat in 2017”.

It is left to be seen what the Governor would make of this interesting statement by Dr Ifeanyi Ubah who has been generally touted as the next Governor of Anambra State by virtue of his overwhelming popularity and ever increasing acceptance and massive support of Ndi Anambra.

The elections might still be a few months away but warning shots have already been fired. Will His Excellency, Chief Willie Obiano decide to take his chances against the oil mogul and globally recognised Nnewi Billionaire, His Excellency, Dr Ifeanyi Ubah or will he score a tactical point by finding a middle ground and win him to his corner ahead of the polls?

Guess we all have to wait and see.
