Again: Gallant Troops Rescue Another Chibok Schoolgirl With Baby

The Nigerian Army has confirmed the rescue of an­other Chibok Schoolgirl by troops of Operation Lafiya Dole.
Rakiya Abubakar, who is carrying a six-month old baby, was discovered during pro­filing of some arrested Boko Haram terrorists in Maiduguri.
In a statement on Thursday, Army Spokesman, Brig Gen Sani Usman, said that Rakiya would be hand­ed over to Borno State Government after thor­ough medical check-up
Preliminary inves­tigation revealed that Rakiya is daughter of Abubakar Gali Mulima and Habiba Abubakar of Chibok town.

The statement reads in part: “Troops of Op­eration Lafiya Dole dur­ing investigation of ar­rested suspected Boko Haram terrorists dis­covered one of the ab­ducted Chibok School girls, Rakiya Abubakar with her six months old baby.
“According to pre­liminary investigation, it was discovered she is the daughter of Abuba­kar Gali Mulima and Habiba Abubakar of Chibok.
“She further stated that she was a student of Senior Secondary School Class 3B (SS3B) before her abduction along with her col­leagues on April 14 2014 by Boko Haram terrorists.”
